I actually had a BMW 323 try to race me yesterday
I couldn't believe it. He came up from behind so he had to see the S4 badge. I could not let myself do it. It probably made his day when he took off down the road in front of me. It gave me a good chuckle.

I had a V6 Accord "blow by me"....
I merged on to the highway fairly fast as I love nailing a good on-ramp. By the time I hit the highway I was touching 80 mph which allowed my the ability to merge all the way over to the fast lane. A V6 Accord was about 50 yards back when I did this. I kept the distance on him but traffic became dense, I slowed down and he closed. So now we are in failry dense traffic, certaily too dense for any kind of fun. He's getting all aggressive, driving close to my bumper, ect. He then merges to the right (now a 2 lane highway) into the breakdown lane (illegal) and throttled hard off into the distance. Not sure what he was trying to prove.

Best thing to do when they get way up on your *** like that....
is to pull out the switch on the back fog light real quick (can be modded to both lights, stock its one) watch in your mirror as they peg the breaks and you speed off. LOTS o FUN.

I had an Accord V-6...they're pretty quick.
If he had an '03+ and a 6-speed, he probably thought he could beat anything. I think they run mid 14's...at 100mph though. They obviously cannot launch, but after that they are not too shabby. I never frequented the Honda forums as I felt I was the oldest person there by about 8 years (I was 24) and yes, I'm sure somewhere there is a guy tellin' his buddies about his S4 kill.

Why did you merge all the way over to the passing lane?
It's a passing lane, not the "fast" lane. It's bad mojo to merge straight across multiple lanes of traffic right off the on-ramp, and worse mojo to travel in the left lane when not passing.
So maybe he was infuriated that you drive like a jerk? :-P

Definitely driving like a bit of a jerk...but its hard not to. This thing is like a sling shot coming out of an on ramp. I was also testing my winter tires (Blizzack LM-25)...I wanted to see how they held up. Not bad I must say.
