I will get one of his allocated units. I have been waiting a long time for this car. I almost broke down and bought a 997, but I am so glad that I waited. This thing is going to rock!!

Default Hmm...first off, congrats. I wouldn't think it's considered "breaking down" to buy a p-car

such as the 997! I'm surprised you've chosen the RS4 over the 997 in that if you don't need the utility of the sedan (or possibly avant) then why not 997? It'll out perform the RS4 in every catergory. Exclusivity maybe?

Default Cool car. You can hang out with us now if you want.

That's gonna be a long wait!

Default The RS4 is a much more versatile car than the 997. What it gives up to the 997,

most of us are not good enough drivers to find. I want a RS4 Avant. To me, that will be the ultimate car. Very utilitarian and a complete rocket. Who says responsibilty and fun cannot be had in the same car!

Good choice...I think you'll get more out of it than the "p" car!

Sure, but you're in (or were in) the position to consider the 997. That's what struck me as odd.

My wife has a V8 Touareg, so the utility is not a must, but it will be nice!

Default Me too. I can also visit customers in an RS4, and no one will bat an eye.

The 997 will cause all sorts of "you must be making too much" comments. Most people not into cars will likely not even know what the RS4 is. They will think it is an A4 with nice wheels.
