I don't understand why B7 S4.....
is replaced with sprint blue instead of nogaro. anyone have a good explanation why they thought sprint blue was a better choice over nogaro?

Re: I haven't seen them side by side - is Sprint more metallic?
Ever so slightly and it looks like there is a little less blue pigment in the sprint. almost like a nogaro light. It doesn't look as wet or deep as nogaro. As if it was thinned out a bit.
If you are familiar with Avus blue from the older M3's, I think sprint is more like that.

I think the "Olympic" allroads were Sprint blue.

The allroads might have been called Sprite Blue - my memory is fading.... :-)

In reality, neither Sprint nor Nogaro are metallic. Both are mica-derived pearl effect paints.
... While Nogaro looks to be a non-metallic/non-pearl effect color to the untrained eye, it is a pearl color. Just like Audi's other "Stealth pearl effect" paints (Misano Red, Goodwood Green, Nimbus Gray and Aviator Gray).
