i would think about msrp or lower which depending on where you are should be about 47k And change. But always go lower and see what they try to do. You never know.

just to give you an idea
If you tried to trade it in max a dealer would offer would be 39,300. That is what it will be worth the second you drive it off the lot. I would start there and work a little up, but nowhere near MSRP.

They can want anything; so can you. Maybe YOU want to pay $30,000. The fair price is probably in the middle - like $40k ?
I bought a NEW 2006 S4 Avant/6MT 5 days ago for $52,000 - $392 over invoice (loaded w/ evrything except Nav).
I think there's consensus that your dealer's requested price is too high, 'ya think ?
