Default Installed hyperflow Friday - not sure about the benefit. . .

I guess this is nothing new, but my sense of it from the butt dyno and the perceived throttle response is that this thing may be causing inconsistent airflow compared to stock assembly. I just don't feel the same smooth torque curve all the way up the band. There seem to be some flat spots and some peaky spots. The difference is subtle, but noticeable. I'm going to drive it some more - and may even put the stock box back on in the next couple of weeks just to get a better A/B comparison after living with the Hyperflow.

I am very curious to see bhvdr's upcoming tests of stock/Carbonio and Hyperflow. Unfortunately, even dyno testing might be a bit inconclusive because there is no ram air effect compared to a car moving along at 50-110 mph with the air being pushed through the factory duct.

And yeah, I like the sound, but not at the expense of performance - so we will see if this is a keeper.

Default how many miles have you driven the car with the new intake?

from my previous experience with other cars, it takes a few miles for the car/ecu to make the adjustments. i say drive it for at least 100 miles to break it in.

Default My experience with tip/hyperflow/Milltek Catback...

is loss of low end torque. Gas pedal response feels "soft" for first 2500rpm, but then a nice burst from then on.
However, the throttle flies through the first 2500rpm with just a blip.
With stock box, car will feel jumpier at low rpm, but sluggish to get to higher revs - feels choked in comparison.

With the tip, I also feel great benefit from "Throttle reset" (with engine off, turn key to position before ignition and hold gas pedal to floor for 10 seconds. Return key to off. Start car)

Try a throttle reset and let us know.

Car looks great BTW.
