Default Maintenance interval for 2005 S4

Hello all,

I've RTFM, and it states that the first interval is 5k, second is 15k and so forth every 10k. My car started flashing service yesterday at just past 10k. Has the dealer set an incorrect warning interval? or is the manual incorrect?

Thanks for any input,

-SharkyS4

Default Very possible the service indicator wasn't reset. Dealer didn't do it on mine at my 30K

check the manual and reset it.

Default It needs to be reset. SA told me when I hit 10K mi. a reminder may appear...

and if so, to swing on by and they'll reset it while I wait. I'm not due 'til 15K mi. or Feb '07, which ever is first.

You're right, not a real full service. It's just an oil change.
