Noise on the Driver Side..
What the hell could it be? There is a gurgling sound to it...almost mechanical. I do have aftermarket swaybars and downpipes...these were all checked and tighten not too long ago.....
HELP..before I waste my time at the dealer...
P.S. no CEL...(knock on wood)

Re: sounds like the dp is rubbing. when does it happen?
It happens at low speeds.... <30, but I checked the DPs there was nothing remotely close to incdicate anything would rub. What about the sway bars?

they are dry....were you thinking slipage of quattro system? I am taking it to the dealer on friday..let's see what they say....

Possible IDLER PULLEY ...lets see what the dealer says
A Mechanic sugested to me it might be the IDLER Pulley...so I am taking it to get looked at. He also states that when the S4 came out this was a common issue.
