Default I like it pretty well. No regrets, but a few niggles.

If you liked the B5 S4 clutch, you may be disappointed with the B6 clutch.

Even after 7 months, I am still used to the placement of the B5 window switches (5+ years in 2 B5's will do that do you). If I am not paying attention, I often lower the rear windows when I meant to lower the fronts.

I am unable to mount my Lidatek transmitter in the grill because the oil cooler (I believe that is what that thing is) gets in the way.

The memory seats/mirrors have a mind of their own, so I gave up on them (nothing gained, nothing lost from the B5). I believe its the mirror motors that are the source of the problem (from my STFA's).

The engine sounds great, albeit too quiet, but she is a thirsty beast.

The Recaro seats and the lack of the B5 glovebox rattle make up for the above annoyances, imo. And, having a wagon has already proven to be very convenient.

Default nice...

good to hear (Read).

i have a few ideas for mods, and adding power, but not much more you can do to this car... simply chip, exhaust, dp, susp, wheels, rns-e.

i am just not completely satisfied with bmw/m5... i want to come back to the audi family. (other choices were wait another year for b7 rs4, or buy now a b6 s4 / c5 rs6, or stay with m5.)
