Default Phatnoise-XM Sat cable- Sal is not building anymore, so I'm looking for another source.

I actually went out and purchased a Phatnoise system, and send Sal money for the cable, only to find he is not making anymore.

That after STFA. So, any clues?

Thanks in advance.

Your other option is to purchase the factory cable and make the modification yourself. There have been a few post on how to do it.

Default If Sal isn't making the cables anymore, then I guess I can post the trick to making it work

Or have someone else post it.

Default If you aren't going to sell the cable, maybe post all of your install instructions

It would save me the trouble of basically posting the same thing, which is the trick of running the L/R/GND signals thru the 3 unused pins on the XM unit. I soldered 3 wires to the pads inside the XM box, and spliced those into the CDC cable, but a simple picture showing the connector pinout on the XM box would likely be enough for anyone to make their own.

Default That would be great. I've done quite a bit of wiring and cabling on race cars but...

,..you need the pinouts and connectors or splices to do so.

I'm a big fan of Phanoise, and I was looking forward to XM radio as well....so, hopefully someone will come through.

I wonder if the long arms of Audi came down on Ryan, like Audi did on Stratmosphere a few years back, with the S4 floor mats.

Default Just no time. It's called a 3 yr old boy, and a newborn. Ashley was born on 07-17. :-)

Audi had nothing to do with it. If there was only more hours in the day. We may start making a couple here and there. But just don't want to commit to them right now.

BTW our dealer is selling the Phat noise for $120.00 plus s/h for out of state customers.
