Should I try to get Black Alcantara for an S4 Cab?

never seen any pics of it... They offer it in the UK as standard, seems like it would be a good switch but not sure...

IMHO,Black Nappa leather is the best looking, the alcantera will hold you more firmly if you track

the car, alcantera will also be cooler in summer. Not sure that that would be a big issue in the UK? Also you can restore any scrapes or wear on nappa leather with shoe polish.

I think black seating surfaces are a bad idea in a cab. Just my humble opinion.

Yes, if you leave the car sitting in the sun w/top down

I have black and no issues.

Not much sun in UK. in fact it may be nice to have solar heated seats

there. In So Cal I stick to light colors for the opposite.

Second vote for black nappa...

Unless you are in the tropics or planning to spend most of your time on the track, why would you choose not to get the fantastic black nappa leather? These seats are great. I have a cab and they don't get too hot even when it is top down sitting in the sun. I had grey leather in my Porsche which was fine, but when it ages/wears you see the dark wrinkle lines, which I don't like.
