The new RS4 is due out six months-one year after the new S4. The new S6 (due out nine months-one year after the new A6) and new RS6 (due out about six months after the new S6) will also get these same Recaro sports seats as standard. Given the price, performance, size and luxury class and target market for the new S6 and RS6 vs. the new S4 and RS4, these same Recaro sport seats (with more power adjustments and standard active headrests, of course) will have to be the only seats offered on the new S6 and RS6. Strong demand and incessant clamouring and bellyaching for the Recaro sport seats are also reasons as to why the Recaro sport seats will have to be the only seats offered on the new S6 and RS6. After all, the Recaro sport seats will be the only seats offered on the new S4 and RS4 for all of these reasons. The Recaro sport seats were also Federalized "with the North American market in mind" for all of these reasons.

that the m3 will get the v8 either this fall or next spring. Nobody can confirm this but this been an on going topic @ roadfly.

You are right about the options on bmw or merc, by the time I finished with all the options on my m3 the car is already 8k more than the MSRP. Audi cars do come well equipped, I remember my TT only has cpl of options which were less than 2k and the only option in my S4 was the sport trim/package.

Seems like a very interesting argument about these cars. S4/RS4 vs eveyone else? Audi always seems to do their own thing dont they? I wish the numbers were the same as an M3.
