Started car, and now it missfires like carazy - anyone..

else ever experienced this or know what the cause of this might be?

I had a similar experience. Cleared the codes with ProDiag. Has not happened again since (knock on wood). My codes showed misfire on all 8 cylinders and too much advanced timing. Strange.

I experienced it once, turned ignition off and on and it was fine!! wierd.

Tried that a few times but did not fix - it's at the dealers now and just waiting

I think it happend to my cousins s4 also, they changed the engine speed sensor I believe.
