windows tinting and valentine one
any good places for windows tinting in bergen county, nj? What's the legal limit in NJ or a % that you guys think works well with this car
also with the v1, can i just order the v1 and its concealed display and put the v1 behind my rearview window and the display somewhere else or does this not work

Re: windows tinting and valentine one
I just picked up my 04' on Saturday, and had it done in the E. hanover, Livingston area. Well worth the trip for you. Cheap, and they did a great job. Tint is only legal in NJ for all the window behind the driver. However, that didn't stop me from doing all but the windshield.

here...
The V1 will work if you put it in your suggested place, I and several others have it in that spot.
Any Tint on front windows in NJ is illegal. Truthfully though, i have had my tint over a year and i have never been harrassed about it. I have 35% all around.

They can, but usually won't.
It all really depends. If you are leaving a bar and you've had a little to drink. I would not be driving a car with (in my state) no front plate and tints (both are illegal). It's a great excuse for a cop to pull you over and give you a sobriety test.
Typically the cops won't hassle you unless they are out looking for drunks. If you get a ticket for tints or no front plate it will be a secondary ticket to speeding or something.
