Is it worth getting the manual rear side window sunshades or do they suck? TIA

I like tinted windows except at night. I drive and park with the shades up because it cuts down on the interior day brightness and it helps keeping the car cool when parked. Some friends first thought my windows were lightly tinted from the outside because the interior looks darker. I think my black seats also add to that effect. And to add, the seats are usually not as hot to the touch and I've found that the shade fabric absorbs some sun heat. You'll see when I mean when you touch them when getting into the car. I drive with all my windows down for a few secs to dissapate the heat and I'm pretty much set.

I bring the rear down at night so I can see behind me...

Mine came with the car. I call them "celebrity shades" ... they're useful, sometimes.
