I would love to get details on the mats - when my '12 gets here the dealer was suppose to supply me with all-weather mats but I like to look of these better.
Either a post or PM would be greatly appreciated.

Just called to order but Audi Parts Super Store said the clips are on backorder. Also noticed you have an S4, I am not sure if the front is the same as my S5 so not sure how much retro would need to be done. Did you need to take the bumper off?

This may be a silly question/point but...
Have any of you noticed ANY loss of power from installing any of these screens? I was in the process of ordering the screen from patinsd's DIY version when I saw something that gave me pause. I noticed on the order screen for the XXL Diamond mesh that it says it allows approximately ~70% of air to go through (scroll down and it gives this next to the gauge and above the pricing). Would this be enough to effect the performance of the engine at all?
While I suppose it is a worthwhile sacrafice I am surprised that no one has brought this up. Many of us have spent thousands trying to eke every last bit of HP for our S4. If this robs it of ANY, I would think those of you in that camp would be willing to chance having to pony up for a radiator in the somewhat unlikely event of that happening. Do you think it is possible that Audi felt that the risk was worthy of the power gain of leaving it exposed?
What are your thoughts?

Anyone know if the newer Audi's with the 3.0L "V6T" (such as 2012 A6, A7) have added a screen from the factory, or are some how better protected? If so, ordering whatever parts were used could be another option.
Or would they have the same issues and would benefit from the various approaches in this thread?

1 more OEM protection screen installed here. Fairly easy install, but had to do the clips by feel from the top as my hand wont fit far enough in the lower part of the grill to align and push them in. I'm satisfied with the result though and it only took about 15 mins total, looks decent, and didn't require me to screw around with cutting mesh or screen and then trying to attach something to the grill with my Laser Interceptor heads installed and wires potentially getting in the way.
