2012 Audi S4 Premium. 7 Speed DSG. 56k kilometers.
Modified exhaust and intake. both AWE.

I'm all lined up to buy the car. Just wondering about any issues they may have, here a few i have found.

-Transmission ECU corroding and causing failure.
-Timing chain has guides that break, and the engine being in backwards means they have to drop the whole engine. (So i hear. really don't know lots about engines.)
-transmission bucking on hills (Could be on B8.5)
-Steering issues, vibrations, lack of feel (If you have ANYTHING i should look for on a test drive please let me know)

Any other issues that should be checked please let me know. I have family that work at the dealership so im not so spooked about the purchase)
The car is being checked out at an Audi dealership.

Really considering a 4 year warranty on power train for around 2.5k, seems like a smart idea



Last thing, I test drove it and it was one hell of a machine, so much power and the sound from that exhaust was amazing. However I took it home for the night and immediatly after turning it on it said Sport Diff Issues and Stability Program Error. These issues dissapered after getting it home and turning it on and off. Any idea what they are? Of course the dealer should be able to find out what it is, but if they don't should I be really worried? or is it just some electronics issues?
