I had RS5 brakes on it, Stillen rear x-drilled rotors to match. BWW

What brakes did you have on the S4? Are those the RS4 calipers?

Haven't played with any Subie stuff. I had a 996 for a short while and it was a hard(er) car to live with. I can't really use a 99X either with the kids being almost teens. I like the thought of a mid 2000s GT3 but know I'd hate it for DD use... and it would likely cost more than I'd be willing to spend initially and maintenance wise.

Don't get me wrong I have loved most of my Audis, can build a B5 out of boxed parts if I had to. It really stressed me that I didn't like the S4 more. The more and more I took the thing apart the more I realized how very different they have become. We can discuss further in email if you'd like, I don't want to threadjack the OP's original question. I'm curious how the standard diff handles acceleration and turn-in/exits on the B8. The sport-diff was fun at first but you never really know what its going to do in the dynamic mode, especially when chipped/flashed. That was unusual at times.

Wife will need a car next year and the S4 and A6 are on the top of the list. Honestly I'm looking forward to something a little more raw, already have an exhaust for the M3 lol.
