I didn't mean just for the rear, but overall - cross drilling is sort of old school unless it's just for looks. It's less efficient than slotted and introduces places for the rotors to crack due to heat under hard constant braking (like track days).

My '09 997 has crossed drilled rotors (stock...factory... etc.. the ceramics are a $10k option)... wtf Neal, why you pooping on my parade?

And I am an old school kind of guy - use cross drilled on all my cars including my Porsche. Count the % of holes in rotor connected by cracks - when it hits 30% I replace them!
