my 2011 stasis s4 vs my buddies c63 with x pipe and stage 2 upgraded ecu?

really? I say stock, no; tuned, hell no. C63 is pretty much made for drag racing.
C63 stock is not a mid-high 12s car at 110-112mph, which is what a Stasis S4 is (remember, 91 octane tune). I'd bet a coke a stock C63 should win pretty easily by a full car or two. Since the OP's buddy has a handful of mods, it should be 2-3 buslengths in a 2-4th gear pull.
There was one guy who was 12.1 with just swapped rear wheels/tires. Otherwise bone stock. Pretty nuts.

C63s are such fun cars. The sound that engine makes alone is worth getting the car for. I would definitely be interested in one if it wasn't for the RWD only.

If I wanted an automatic, I would've gotten one. It was high on my list when I was shopping.

Me too...I thought hard about the C63. But my driveway is on an incline and I couldn't even get up there with a C350 in the winter. I might as well buy a winter beater if I had the C63. There's no way I am going to spend 70K plus on a car and not drive it half the year. In all, it shows that S4is such a great all-around car. Comfortable, surprisingly quick, great in all-weather. And with a simple ECU tune, very quick. C63 is no good for those of us living with snow. I wouldn't try to drive one of those through the winter even with snow tires. It's like, what's the point? That's like making a Corvette a winter car. They are pretty much three-season cars.
