Navigation Night/Day Mode Automatic Setting
First week I got the vehicle, the map switched to day/night mode depending on outside light level. I'm not sure what I did but now I have to manually tell it to change to day/night map. My light has always been in the Auto setting. Any suggestions on getting the map auto mode feature back?

I know its its in the MMI settings. I don't remember where and the car is locked in the garage currently but search through the MMI settings or read the manual. It'll be there. Also if you turn on the fogs even with the lights on auto the lights turn on and are not technically in auto mode(even though switch is still in auto setting but the map shouldn't switch (don't remember if it does but ill check in the morning when I go to work

It is in the settings - mine has switched on me too 2-3 times in the 17k miles I have had it. Just go into the setup and switch it back to auto... there are worse gremlins that could happen so I am content with that one.

One thing I find annoying is you can use voice commands for "Day Map" or "Night Map", but you cannot say "Auto Map". Gotta go into the MMI to set it back to auto.
Nav --> Setup --> Top line of menu, set to Auto
Nav --> Setup --> Top line of menu, set to Auto

Are you using the same key? If you switch keys and the setting was not on "Auto" for that key, you will think it changed on its own, but it was actually the last stored setting for that key when it was last used.
