Default Seattle Audi Crash Videos

Did anyone see these two videos? Not sure which model cars they are...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILDOqppQL-U

and

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym9K3..._order&list=UL

There is so much going on here that is wrong, not in any order:

1 - don't shoot phone video portrait
2 - don't drive an audi without snow tires up a snowy hill
3 - if you are going to go out and film people sliding down your neighborhood street, maybe you should be warning them away instead.

Let this be a good reminder to get snow tires even though you have a AWD car.

After seeing this video there is no way I'm driving to SEATAC airport tomorrow to fly back to the Bay Area for Thanksgiving. I live in the adjacent neighborhood (Belltown) to Queen Ann and I'm still running summer tires on the S4.

I'll be walking to the light rail station in downtown to go to the airport.

Great points, btw. I agree with each and every one of them.

This is why I run proper winter tires even if there are only a few days they are needed. Quality of the video was excellent. Why so marrow? The driver was most likely drunk otherwise why would he leave?

Yes saw them the filmer posted them on QW, the first is a silver A4, then it gets hit by a Subaru, then gets hit by a gray/silver RS4 which runs.

That is a notorious hill which is closed anytime it snows and there is accumulation (you can see why) and these are yahoo's who ignore the closure signs.

+1!!! That's exactly what I was thinking. What a douche for just allowing this fool to drive up the road and not even warn him first.

I agree - doubt that either of the drivers would have fared any better with winters.

You'd have to know the area and nieghborhood, these people do this crap every year and never heed warnings.

Same hill and street last year in the first few minutes of the video. This guy in the Audi did what you are supposed to do and kept the power on and save himself from everything except a little curb rash. Granted this was in snow, not compact snow/ice, but still should have kept the car where it was.

I love the red A4 at 4:45 that just comes out of the driveway and heads down past all the mayhem in perfect control

quattro rules!
