I was also offered unsolicited. As I had Audicare, they sent me a check for the value of the Audicare.

Called them today and the person was helpful. They said a specialist handling these coolant leaks would be getting in touch with me. Hopefully I get audicare, but hate the smell of the coolant burning too. Unsure what they can do about that though.

If you are in Northern California, take your WP towed vehicle to Rector motors and talk to Paul Medina. He'll take care of you. They will give you a full tank of gas, detail your car, and even extend your warranty.

As I already had Audicare, the warranty extension was more important to me. If you plan on keeping it that long, additional 2 yrs/50K miles could be financially significant given the cost of German car repairs...

Ditto, already have Audicare, they made the unsolicited offer. AoA sent me a check for the value of one monthly payment, which is slightly higher than Audicare in my case.

It never hurts to ask. You would be surprsied what you might get if you ask. Then, if you dont get it, ask someone else. Eventually you will get the right person is my experience.

AUDI especially seems to be very good at making their customers happy these days.

yep, i called them the day after the WP failure and i demanded that i get compensation stating this is safety issue and gave them an scenario if i was trapped in a blizzard with little kids. they offered audicare which i refuse and asked for a months payment. i got the check yesterday for $845. audicare didnt seem that appealing to me.
