B9 S4 owners - how black are your exhaust tips?
The EA839 motor has an air oil separator similar to the EA837 engine, which as you all know, had a pretty good track record with not burning that much engine oil and there were no rampant and systemic reports of intake valve carbon buildup.
As the EA839 motor is so new, none of us/you know if the intake valve carbon buildup exists on our/your cars, but one thing we can take a look at is how black the exhaust tips are on the B9 S4s. Can some of you pls report back? Anything noteworthy?

Mine were mildly soothed only at the bottom bit of the ovals. I cleaned them for the 1st. time at aprox. 10000km (6k miles)
This is how they looked prior to cleaning:

Colllinite 850 metal wax
I had the same issues until i had a custom exhaust/tips installed. Then i used collinite, it cleans and protects as well. It keeps the exhaust tips looking new.. Thought I'd share..

Not mine. But this is the B9 S4 badge.
I have the RS4 grill just like the picture. On the stock grill, there is a hole for it to clip on.
On the RS4 gill you have to glue it on.
