Yes, long press is what I’m talking about. I was reading the manual and found a small disclaimer that may explain my problem. It states that some corporate phone may have disabled Bluetooth features. Turns out my company just changed our corporate mobile phone email system to Microsoft Outlook and I had to load a new Management profile on my phone. This is my latest theory, I need to uninstall it to test.

Say im listening using Spotify, I should be able to see my playlist in the MMI? I just got my car 5 days ago and I can only see what song im playing on the screen. also it doesn't always show the album art!

If I'm not mistaken, the only playlists you will see are the iOS Music app's playlists -- same for tracks, albums, etc. If you want to see the playlists you've set up in a 3rd party app, you'd have to use the USB cable and CarPlay and then access the Spotify app on CarPlay.
