If you want to deal with jacking the car up, removing the lower cowling, and making a mess, sure...you can still do it this way. But not even the dealer does.

Well...it depand of how you work...I never did a mess changing motor oil from the engine oil pan plug, a set of ramps work perferctly, way better than jacks...imho!

Exactly what i would have said up to about a year ago. The way I’ve been changing oil for decades.

Then an award-winning Audi mechanic friend told me to get with the times and use an extractor. I got one and it’s really the way to go. Very quick and easy. No muss, no fuss.
