Warm weather package: issues with heated seats ?
Hello everyone
I found a 2018 S4 that I like in the inventory of an Audi dealership not far from my place. It has the "Warm weather package" which means that the "S" sport seats are replaced with the ventilated Sport Seats coming with the Milano leather.
I live in New England and it gets very cold in winter, I don't really need the ventilated seats but I do need very much the heated seat feature (which come by default)
Here's my question to those of you who also have the ventilated seats: have you noticed that the seats (especially the driver's one) are not heating properly ?
I read on this forum that some 2018 Q5/SQ5 equipped with the warm weather package have issues with the heated seat feature, they don't get hot enough - so I'm a little bit worried. See the thread I'm referring to below

Thanks in advance for your answers !

And I thought I was alone! I find the butt warmers in my ventilated seats to be sub par, compared to my wife's A6 or to my little Mercedes (which puts your butt on fire, it's actually annoyingly hot in that car). So yes I do find the heating feature to be quite disappointing.

Hmm I have the warm and cold weather package. Doesn't get terribly cold here in Metro ATL e.g in the 20's would be the coldest. The heated seats and steering wheel warm up ok for me. Can't comment for colder climates :-)

HI guys
Just to give you an update. I finally pulled the trigger and got the 2018 S4 with both cold weather and warm weather.
The seats heat up perfectly, there are no problems with them !
However I was disappointed in the heated steering wheel (not warm enough and heat not distributed evenly), so I took the car to the dealership and told the (very rude) tech guy to program the OBD to make it hotter. Now it's just perfect.
