Default "Help" - How do I take the font bumper off?

AWE's pdf for intercoolers says that:

Release the bumper from its clips on each side by pushing bumper towards
rear of car, then grasping the upper edge of the bumper running along the side of the front fender and pulling downwards. Then grasp the
lower edge of the bumper below and pull upwards. This is a tricky maneuver, and can be made easier with the help of a friend.

I have tied this with no success.

Is there a trick to this or I am just outright a "num nutz" ?

Thanks<ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/AWE_S4_intercoolers.pdf">http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/AWE_S4_intercoolers.pdf</a></li></ul>

I can't see any tabs, there is very little space between the bumper and fender.

Default this hole.

<center><img src="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/pics/ext46-bumper4.jpg"></center><p>linked below shows how to remove it, and how the clips look like once removed. It'll give you an idea on how the clips hold the bumper in place.<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext46.shtml">https://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext46.shtml</a</li></ul>

Default Search your directory j/k :) ...

for some reason mine always pops off easily when I park at work because the lower lip gets caught on that little stupid piece of rebar that holds the stop blocks in place. I think if you use a flathead and that little hole inside the fender well with someone tugging on the front it will pop off easily. Thats how I did mine.

Default Probably not...

I wish I had pics....

There is a bracket that snaps in between two hooks on the inside back of the bumper. That bracket has three nylon male pins that snap into the female counter-part holes on the front end of the fender.

Whe you pull the bumper out, either the hooks ot the pins will let go.

It's unlikely you will break anything..

Sadley, this is the best I can do in the a picture...and it sucks... see the two squares on the fender extension? Those are the female holes...

<img src="http://images18.fotki.com/v347/photos/4/43687/3980928/IPPICsap-vi.jpg">

If the bracket comes off on the bumper, it just snaps it back into the hooks. I think it is easier to align it if you snap the bracket into the holes on the fender and clip the bumper onto the bracker.

And yes...a swift shot with the heel of your hand to get it all to snap together again..

Sorry I can't offer more..
