Depending on your MY it's 5 with some and then 10, others' have different intervals.

My 2001 is 5K but I think the book changed in 2002 and it is now 10K.

My 2002 is an 05/01 and has a 5k service. However, there are later (not quite sure when they switched) 2002's that only have a 10k service. Apparently, it's now up to the dealer whether or not the service gets performed on 2002's with the 5k interval. Allegedly, the dealers were supposed to replace the maintence manuals of all 2002 so that the first service was at 10k. My dealer never did and I bought my car in 11/01, six months after it was built. Check your maintence booklet, if it says you have a 5k service, I would insist that the dealer do it, however some dealer have been reluctant to do so. Now where's my money?
