Is 80k too many miles?
I am narrowing down my choices of S4 and I am looking at a Silver 01 with a few mods that has 80k on the clock. It hasn't had the belt done, guy says dealer told him to wait till 90k. It was probably beat on but it dosen't have a chip, just B&M SS, Neuspeed exhaust, H&R/Bilstein drop, 007s and some misc other stuff. What price would make this car worth the risk?

At the very least, I'd get the price adjusted for the cost of timing belt parts and labor.
80K isn't bad for an S4, but if I were buying another one I'd try to get one with less miles.

Actually yours is on my short list.
I don't know if I've emailed you or the previous owner. It was listed sometime last year with different contact information. I am up in the Wilkes-Barre area.
It is you and a Stg II down in Lancaster in my top 2. The one I described in the OP is an ebay auction that I came across for $15K. It is a huge dice roll, but I had to concider it for a $3500+ difference.
I am just deciding what to do with my A4, It needs to be sold around the same time I move up. Send me an email, I don't know which address you want to use. It is probably time to talk.
