why is it that all tubing over 3" is insanely priced? i see that special tooling is needed, but is there any sources to plain old mandrel bent tubing in the 3-4" range, possibly online?

Also you're talking about a bender needing a crane to be moved, not a forklift.

Also the thing is huge, most shops just don't have room for a machine that big.

Then you come to the tubing which is $$, oh and the tube cutter needs to be larger/more expensive.

Also nobody can afford an auto bead roller that big, so everything is hand rolled one-at-a-time.

They can bend larger diameter pipe and are VERY reasonably priced.
