Another Eibach Prostreet-S coilover review.
Guess this will be buried in no time but ill fire up my review.
My previous experience with suspension setups was limited to my 01 Jetta with a bilstein/prostreet setup that was a mild performer at best.
So some positives about the new eibach coilovers:
-Next to the voghtlands, one of the cheapest kits on the market.
-Quality construction, welds are very nicely lapped
-Adjusting rings are plastic coated. Hopefully weather resistent.
-No undue harshness on bumps and whatnot. No bone jarring wacks in the ***. So the refinement i previously enjoyed in the car has not been lost.
-rebound is quick, and there is no pogostick effect. You are aware of the rebound more so than stock, but it does not miss the mark and bounce back down, returns to position in a very snappy manner.
-cornering is much improved. Tires are now a limiting factor, will be correcting that on monday with some falken fk451s.
------------
Honestly i am really impressed you could almost forget that you have just dumped the car down to 25inches (fender to ground) the ride is THAT good. Yet the car does not turn into jello when you corner, or accelerate.
The only negative thing i have to say is i still notice some high speed braking instability, (nothing like stock though) however, i think perhaps the car needs more rear braking bias.
Does anyone know of a way to adjust this? Either that, or its an aerodynamic thing... 200+ is pretty damn guick and the stock brakes, frankly are pretty damn good at slowing the car down rapidly. More so than my old Jetta.

Possible alignment issue?
Wandering or dartiness under braking can be a symptom of an alignment issue. I believe too much toe out will cause that. It will also give you more precise turn in...so you can adjust the alignment if you think that is the cause of your issue, but it's a compromise.
