Successful twice...most people are if you take your time..
Good mod for cheap next to nothing. Take your time follow the instructions, and take a good look at what you want the piece to do so you have a game plan for getting it out.
Go for it, and might I suggest starting on the passanger side so that if that one is a bit sloppier, you dont' have to see it everyting you walk to your car.

Yes... I have... others have...

If you are going to do it take your time, be patient. If you put the amber bulb back in, it wont look that great. If you buy stealth bulbs that look silver but blink amber it will look good, but with the amber light not as bright as an amber bulb. I bought a clear bulb that blinks white. Check my picture poster for more pics.
Overall it looks great... look at the sig pic for example.

I've done a lot of them. It's very easy. Just poke a hole through the headlight on the top and
bottom where the clips from the orange reflector go through. Than just snap them off and free the reflector. The heardest part is braking it all apart without damaging the reflective part on the headlight. It looks nice but not like Euro's that's for sure. Also you will need some kind of clear bulbs. Led or filament. Here's my brother's A4 that I did.
