Default Anyone else replaced side marker lights?

I replaced my amber side marker lights with clear/white lights tonight. Not bad. Certainly an easy $3 'mod'. The auto store also had 194s in Blue, Red, and assorted other ricey flavors.
Anyone else change theirs out?

Default I did it as soon as I put in my Euros!

I do like the clear to go with the regular city lights as well as turn signals on the Euros.

Default from dealer (m)

the part number is 8e0 949 127

Realize that you do have to cut the sheetmetal to get them to fit (basically enlarge the hole to 3x its size with a dremmel).

I think it cost about $25 for the pair

Default Not to hard...

Just need to have the guts to make the whole larger. The size of the hole for the stock sidemarker is about the size of a quarter. You need to make the hole about the size of three quarters in width.
