I already have stock dps off the car, just don't have the time to piggify them.

I should clarify my mechanic has the dps off the car and doesn't have the tools to do it.

Maybe he's not able to weld the secondary O2 sensors in behind the main cats?

Default I agree, I was commenting that there could be another reason why the mechanic says he can't do it...

I'm assuming if he's doing a downpipe job he has the tools to actually hollow the pre-cats themselves...

Default Well the point is he is already doing me a favor by doing my clutch for cheap ...

and doesn't want to/can't do the piggie pipes and since he is already doing me a huge favor I don't want to bug him to do the dps as well. So I thought if someone had I set lying around I buy them and have him slap them in.

Default totally reasonable - I think getting a set would be a good deal for sure......

since you'd get a free install -

Have you considered buying a set of aftermarket and having those installed?
