Default I think the 997 have the variable vane geometry where they "open/close"

based on rpm etc to try and reduce turbo lag. Would those really work on the S4?

I thought that was built into the turbine housing and not the turbine wheel.

Default thats in the turbine, not the compressor.

the Blouch hybrids use the 997 compressor wheel, and clipped KO4 turbine

Default Piggie posted pictures with measurments, but no testing as far as I've seen.

I just put the 997 hybrids in from Blouch, but I'm still breaking the clutch in to tell you any more.

Default Please post results once its broken in.. thanks

If you dont mind me asking, how much was the finishing cost?? he told me anywhere between 1200-2000 Yikes at 2k. Thats basically saying 4300 for a set brand new, and I believe the RS6 kit can be had for about that once you take into account the price once inlets and tuning and fueling and all of that good stuff is taken into account.

Default well they rebuilt my blown K04's, and since they were a worst case senario it was about $2k

but you could also make it a lot cheaper by just doing K04s. Or if you had one good turbo it would be a good deal less too. You get the idea. Brand new K04s into 997/K04 hybrids is under $1400 I believe.
