Anyone own the K40 radar detector? Better than V1?

I'd give the nod to the K40 in terms of sensitivity, but in terms of user-friendliness, the V1 is the clear winner. The K40 is really not that hard to understand once you have it for a while, and it's stealth-cool! If you have the $$ to burn, I say hit up the K40. If not, the V1 is a solid choice.
