Default Anyone run the Pagid Orange or Black pads?

Stoptech 332mm front, S8 rears...

How do they compare to Hawk DTC70 or PF97 or PF01?

I need another set of race pads and I can get the pagid locally...

Default i've run the Orange & PFC 97. the PFC's can handle more heat/more fade resistant. if you're hard

on the brakes i wouldn't recommend them. the PFC's held up great. i thought both had good bite and were easy to modulate. the Oranges lost a bit toward the end of the sessions (20-25 minutes).

i have a set of pFC 97 w/ 1 track day on them, if you're interested. i changed from ST-40's to Alcon so have no need for them..

Default "Stoptech 332mm front, S8 rears..."that is my setup, with pagid oranges on the front.

i'm not sure what i have on the back now but i thing its pagid blue.
I must say pagid orange is great for the track, never tried the other pads you posted but much better than mintex blue and axxis pads.

Default I ran Pagid Orange on the track. great pad, easy on rotors, good modulation, initial bite could've

been better. I never had any fade issues and I'm hard on brakes. Biggest track that I ran those was at MidOhio.

FYI - there are two types of Pagid Blacks.

I run the 4-2-1 as streets and the RS14 pads are the race pads, which I haven't run...yet. I'm currently running Hawk HT10 as my track pad, which have amazing bite when hot and great modulation with good release. I'm not sure if it was the pads or just going to VIR, but I left with a lot more surface cracks on my rotors that aren't very old. I may give the RS14 pads a try next, tho.

price check at RennStore:

Default I recently ran the Hawk DTC70's and they left heat cracks in my

stoptech rotors. I saw on Pagid's website that they don't recommend using their pads on rotors that have been used with pads other than pagid's. Looks like I'll get a set of front street pagid pads too.

I'll most likely try to RS14's and get the RS4-2-1's for the street...

Default I wonder why Pagid says that. fwiw, the surface area of Pagid pads is larger

so you may need to do a little chamfering. I didn't have any issues with the Oranges, but the Black 4-2-1 needed some to stop vibrating/rubbing.

Matt at Stoptech said it was normal and ok if the pads over-hang a little, but it just takes a little awhile for them to wear down what is rubbing, especially if you don't chamfer the pads.
