around the edge.

I just want to make sure they are okay. Even though I do not have problems, I have oil on the driver's side (which is normal), but nevertheless, I'd like to do some preventive maintainence.

Default I have the same ones and haven't opened 'em since I got 'em....

they seem to be running fine and every time I've pulled them off they've tested fine. I dunno if they require servicing, but mine don't seem to need it.
