Anyone use Shell Rotella T Synthetic in their S4? (more)
I noticed Rotella Synthetic 5W40 at Wal Mart is $12.84 per gallon. Damn that's cheap! Some dude on the A4 forum <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1743639.phtml">thinks Rotella is great</a>, even better than Mobil 1. *shrug*
I just bought a case of Mobil 1 0W40, so that's what is going into the S4 next.

Rotella is designed for Diesel engines.
That is, extended drain intervals and tolerance to diesel combustion contaminants.

Sounds like Mobil 1 Delvac, only cheaper ($12.84/gal).
Rotella would probably work just fine, but M1 0W40 gives me that warm/fuzzy feeling since it is OEM fill for Mercedes and Porsche.
