Default Is an APR bi-pipe a good idea?

I just purchased RS4 intercoolers, but I have no shrouds or hoses. I was considering the hose kit from APR, but is states that the hoses fit the bi-pipe. Is it advisable to get one? Is APR the only place to buy it?

TIA

Yeah get the bi-pipe and the hoses for the ICs work great with the bi-pipe also.

Default Yes it is a very good idea. I have blown apart 3 TBB's, one wrapped in kevlar, blown TBB's can

overwork your turbos and increase the chance of early failure.

Default Second mod in my car, after the UUC SS. Great for peace of mind.

I simply do not have to worry about a torn TBB.

If you got an older one, you might want to seal it off and fill it with water to check for leaks. I've read about some people a few years back finding pin-sized holes in the pipe. Wouldn't kill you, but a leak is a leak...

Not sure that even happens anymore.

Default i would say its a great idea, and plan on doing one sooner or later...

but to this date, i have never blown my stock TBB or even replaced my stock BPVs (since day 1 of taking delievery). i have 710Ns ready to go, but have had no issues with either yet though.
