Is auto-dimmed mirror function a standard feature on 2000 S4?

Or how can you tell that it has the auto-dimmed function during the day?

Default Is there are small notch in the bottom center of the mirror?
I think it only came with the convinience package (mirrors and Homelink).

Default Yep the notch is for a light sensor....
If you find it turn on your head lights, then cover over the hole/notch with your finger and your mirrors should go green.

Default i'm pretty sure mine "dim" without the headlights on...
yep, came with the convenience/premium package.

i believe in all years that also includes the sunroof (sunroof/homelink/dimming mirrors)

Default I'm trying to get it replaced, but the seller doesn't know if it has the function...
He has a 2000 S4, and he doesn't know whether he has it or not.

If it wasn't auto dimming, wouldn't the center mirror have a lever?
