Default AWE Intercoolers & RS4 Oil Cooler install last weekend

these two items went on my car last weekend and I'm really happy with the end result. I definitely learned alot during the install process.

One challenge we encountered was mounting the Power Steering cooler since the oil cooler resides in the same space. We ended up cutting one of the oil cooler brackets and the PS cooler slid right into it nicely. I had Taner's notes on the error in the oil cooler diagram - thanks!

The other challenge for us was trimming the intercooler shrouds so the bumper would fit back on properly. Good thing I had the local experts come by to help me out.

Special thanks to Whoisrob, Funkweasel, SAC-A4-S4, Billaeon, Jonah and Reefer Bob for giving up some weekend time for the cause. also thanks to AWE for sending the intercoolers so quickly and thanks to ECS for not raising the price until AFTER I bought the oil cooler.

Default Congrats, I know it's not easy - took me days (afterwork) to get it all done

mind you the bi-pipe o-rings slowed me down a lot<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1782939.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1782939.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default Yeah, I'm still not stoked with the AWE kit. I'll post the specifics of what irritates me

in the next couple days. Ghetto fabulous in some ways.

Default Did anything ever come of the post where people said Rs4 oil cooler was actually bad?

making the oil stay too cold? it was a few weeks back, but I forgot to track it.

Did you make sense of this thread before installing it?<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1781410.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1781410.phtml</a</li></ul>

I'm lost, which is worse : cold oil contamination, or super-hot oil on the turbo bearings ?
