Default AWE OTS Stage 3 Logs

Okay, I am looking for some idea why I am not getting the power I thought I would after going stage 3. Everything is OTS AWE Stage 3. Exhaust, downpipes, Fueling, Intercoolers, PJ K04 and ASP Manifolds.

I was expecting ~360 WHP but after doing some FATS runs It calculates out to more like 310 WHP.

Runs were done on level road, no wind
Temp: 70 degrees
Weight was full weight with spare and 1/2 tank of gas.
Elevation is almost sea level.
92 octane gas.


Some concerns I see in the graphs that could use some help on.

1) Why am I chasing Desired Boost line? It bounces above and below.

2) Is 18-19 desired psi normal or on low side, and why does it go up to 20 psi only above 5500 rpm? I thought it was suppose to taper down at redline?

3) My O2's are all over the place and the last time I posted people said to replace them, but just one question before I do that, could this be the fuel pump? (it is stock) It is drifting down to redline. Am I starving from fuel?

4) What should I expect my FATS time to be with OTS AWE Stage 3?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am dynoing the car tomorrow to confirm lower than expected WHP. But want to get an idea why I am not making the power I thought I would.

Default everything looks pretty normal to me, except that you are running somewhat lean for 92oct

the boost waver is normal for N75 controlled boost.

the requested boost profile is normal for AWE ots, which does not taper, it rises to redline.

i'd try adding 5% fuel via lemmiwinks if your fuel trims (block 32 in VAGCOM) have room for it. Problem is, you are already maxing out your injectors.

Default Injectors already maxed out?

The injectors are green giants. I thought they had plenty of room on top of the OTS tuning. They aren't 60# injectors but your comment of maxed out surprises me. I am a noob when comes to logging and reading these graphs so if you could point out what graph I could see this in and what to watch for would be helpful.

Would a upgraded fuel pump help any of these issues or is it a waste of money?

Default fuel pump might help. also check fuel filter.

the OTS kits typically do run close to 100% DC up top, but your O2s are very low. maybe you do have some gremlins in your fueling system.

What are your LTFTs? (VAGCOM block 32)

Default I would deff. say your FATS are a bit higher than they should be

I would say down around 4 flat or in the 3's. Maybe I'm wrong for 92 octane though and OTS AWE

Default Met you at PDX (I HAD similar setup as yours)

AWE kit with mani, ics, etc. etc. I thought my car should be faster as well. Your logs are very similar to mine AND you had exactly the same questions I had (boost creep, fluctuations etc.) I took it to the track and did horrible. I spent the next year chasing the issue.

Email me if you want to save yourself the headache of trying to fix something when there is nothing wrong.

Default I know what it is!!! I had the EXACT same problem when I fist went AWE and

all it ended up being was the boost pressure sensor that sits in the throttle body boot. I replaced the N-75, adjusted wastegate tensioning, N-75 lines... freaking everyhting - before replacing that sensor - and it was problem solved instantly.

I still run a stock fuel pump by the way - 40,000 miles later.

You should be in the high 3s for fats times off the shelf.

Default i dont understand how that would be the problem, unless you can clearly see in the logs

that the sensor is dropping out or is flaky.
