Thanks for this explanation and the EGT/timing one. :)
I hadn't taken the amount of time into consideration, very good point. I had known about the EGT/timing thing, but that's the best explanation I've ever read about it.

It was literally only 2-3 degrees cooler when I did my run
But my FATS are in the 3.4-3.8 sec for the same 2 stretches of road, so I agree, less time for the I/C to saturate.
