I have a friend who is chipped. One day he blew an intercooler hose. I'm assuming this is due to the extra stress on the system from running higher boost.

What are some ways to get around this? Are there "aftermarket" clamps we can put on our stock hoses to keep them in place better? What's the chance that a stock hose might tear/blow if it's on real tight and unable to release the pressure by popping off??

Question 2: are there aftermarket hoses and clamps that look stock?
