BOSE Stereo resetting upon start up (more)
Every time I get back into my S4 and turn it on, the Bose stereo is always on a different non local/non stereo channel...IE if I shut the car off with 95.5 stereo on, when I get back in and start it up again, it's on like 97.4 which is not a local station. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: BOSE Stereo resetting upon start up (more)
I have the same problem with the Bose head unit in my new S4. It started to occur within the first week that I had the car. Not only did the station change when the car was started up, but other settings would randomly change. This includes every parameter that you can set such as bass, treble, balance, fader, etc. The station presets are rock solid.
It took my car to my local dealer and they called the Audi techline who stated that many people that own 2000 model year cars were having this same problem. They stated that Audi had acknowledged that there is a design flaw in the head unit. The dealer ordered me a new one. I have a feeling that it may be awhile before a new head unit shows up.
Place your order for a new head unit now - the long line is forming!
