Default IIRC the Bosch warranty requires DOT 5.1 compatible fluid (edit)

but that may be an RS6 I'm thinking of . . .

STaSIS ships the Motul 5.1 with most of the kits for compatability and warranty concerns.

It says on the yellow cap (if you're stock) DOT 4, IIRC.

Default ...but, the more air in the reservior the more moisture gets in and brake fluid attracts moisture!

My opinion is to keep it topped off and just suck out the xs with a "garage only" turkey baster when you change pads. YMMV.
