Default Brake questions. Need information-

What is the pros/cons of going with something like a stage 3 brake kit with the 322mm rotors versus buying the DBA rotors that are 321mm? I know the stg 3 comes with calipers, but will the stock calipers work fine with mintex reds and DBA's? I'm trying to decide if I should go with the whole brake kit from ECS, or just order the DBA's and mintex reds from AWE for a fraction of the price.

Default Sittin' at home drinking a bud, getting ready to eat some food. I got an email about the GB, but

I'm wondering if it is really necessary for me. The GB is something like $1650 and the DBA's and mintex are totalled at around $400. BTW, the Fhose and TBB fixed my problems...its running much better now.

Default very cool, well....

for the kind of power your puttin out and the fact you like to autocross and track it I would get some 355 brembos but those are a litlle pricey. I have seen someone on here do a good job of frying some DBA's pretty good so your next shoice would be some 332mm stoptechs or the ECS 993 brake kits which look very nice IMO. I look at the DBA's as an aesthetic thing becuase they aren't doing much of anything else.

Default Stick with HP-2s for more brake torque at wheel and build it to be more fade resistant by

using Motul 600, removing dust shields and buying aftermarket cooling enhanced stock sized rotors. A wise man may try and retrofit front cooling ducts from a 996 TT.
