Funny!!! but no thanks. My brothers third gen RX-7 is even more high maintenance than my B5.

clutch switch possibly? Mash the clutch to the floor and see if that does it.

Default Crank position sensor possibly. Or a fuel pump. Do you have an AWE LWFW?

some of the early ones had some issues with reluctor rings that would come loose.

Default That definately sounds like a crank position sensor or reluctor ring(see above post)

My car did that exact thing with a bad crank sensor. I could take a wrench and tap on the sensor and it would start.

Coolant temperature sensor faulty? Mine had those symptoms.

Just had it replaced while at VAST a few weeks ago.

Update: ECU isn't communicating with the car, sending it to VAST to run diagnostic.

ECU's go bad too, doesn't matter if modded or oem. Was your tune flashed or is it a physical chip?

Well there is always the chance that the chip is loose on the board and that could be your problem.
