Default CD Player Error

hey guys and gals for some reason whenever i go to put a cd it wont play. I just get the error messege. every single cd in my book is the same story. I dont want to take it to audi in lieu of scary bill. Has anyone experienced this? What do i do? Please help, I hate listening to the radio all the time!

Err1 = CD player is fried, no fix to date.

If it's broken, you could always get a phatbox MP3 player.

is there no way to fix this cd player now?

Default Unplug it and replug it in - that has worked for me several times>>

if you search the archives there are some posts about this with more information about how to plug and unplug and in what sequence.
